22.74MW Silicon Technology Industrial Park Roof Mounting System| Guangxi, China
April 16, 2026
1. Project Overview
•Project Background: This project is located in the Silicon Technology Industrial Park in Guangxi. Antaisolar provided a complete rooftop mounting solution to support the construction of a 22.74MW distributed PV power plant utilizing large-scale factory rooftops within the park. As a green energy supporting project for a silicon materials production base, it aims to power energy-intensive silicon manufacturing with clean electricity, promoting the deep integration of industrial production and renewable energy while supporting the park’s low-carbon transition and sustainable development goals.
•Project Requirements: The system was deployed on metal sheet rooftops across the industrial park. The core requirement was a customized mounting solution capable of handling high coastal wind loads, enabling non-penetrative installation to protect the roof, and ensuring efficient construction with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Specifically, the solution needed to: (1) Meet a 0.75 kN/m² wind load requirement to ensure structural safety under extreme weather conditions; (2) Adopt a non-penetrative installation method to maintain roof waterproof integrity; (3) Enable fast, low-interference installation during normal plant operations while controlling construction costs.

2. Challenges
2.1 Wind Resistance Under Coastal High Wind Loads
•Guangxi’s coastal location requires a wind load design of up to 0.75 kN/m², significantly higher than inland projects. The mounting system needed exceptional uplift resistance to ensure module and roof connection safety under typhoon conditions, placing strict demands on clamp grip strength, rail rigidity, and overall structural stability.
2.2 Non-Penetrative Installation and Roof Protection
•Silicon production facilities require strict waterproofing standards. Any roof penetration could cause leakage and disrupt sensitive manufacturing processes. The mounting system had to ensure a completely non-invasive installation while maintaining long-term roof integrity.
2.3 Construction Efficiency Under Continuous Operations
•With uninterrupted industrial activities, installation windows were limited, and disruption to logistics and production had to be minimized. This required a highly simplified installation process, enabling parallel construction across multiple rooftops while controlling labor costs and project timelines.

3. Solution
Antaisolar delivered a customized metal roof mounting solution featuring a single-row portrait layout optimized for efficiency, safety, and adaptability to coastal conditions.
3.1 High Wind Resistance with Reinforced Components
•50mm seamlok clamps were selected to securely grip the roof seams through mechanical fastening. Pull-out tests verified their reliability under 0.75 kN/m² wind load conditions.
•The main structure uses 1.2mm-thick square aluminum rails, offering excellent bending strength and load-bearing capacity. Combined with 60mm mid and end clamps, the system forms a robust support structure capable of resisting strong coastal winds.
3.2 Non-Penetrative Roof Protection Design
•The seamlok clamps require no drilling or welding, relying entirely on mechanical grip to secure the system, eliminating leakage risks and preserving the roof’s waterproof layer.
•The modular clamp-and-rail design allows flexible adaptation to different roof profiles without modification, reducing installation complexity and material costs.
3.3 Standardized Fast Installation System
•The modular design significantly simplifies on-site installation, requiring minimal fastening steps and reducing interference with factory operations.
•All components are pre-fabricated and pre-labeled, enabling “plug-and-play” installation on site. Multiple teams can work simultaneously across different rooftops, accelerating project delivery while optimizing labor efficiency.

4. Results
•Successful Grid Connection and Stable Operation: The 22.74MW rooftop PV project has been successfully commissioned and is operating reliably. The mounting solution provided by Antaisolar effectively addresses high wind resistance, non-penetrative installation, and rapid deployment, ensuring stable green power supply for the silicon production base.
•Significant Economic and Environmental Benefits: The project generates substantial clean electricity annually, significantly reducing carbon emissions and lowering electricity costs for enterprises within the park. Optimized design and efficient construction also contributed to effective cost control and improved return on investment. This project demonstrates a proven approach for distributed PV deployment in high-wind coastal industrial parks. Its combination of high wind resistance design, non-invasive installation technology, and efficient construction management provides a reliable reference for similar projects.
